New Events

So today was a possible new step for me. My family came up and looked at a home I looked at and have found some interest in. I am trying so hard not to get my hopes up but I really like this house. I have emailed my mortgage person but she is not back in the office until Monday. That seems like forever but I know that it gives me time to really think about what I would want and not want and if this is really the choice for me.

I really am trying not to get excited but part of me also wants to enjoy this every minute and just enjoy it. So wish me luck. And I should know pretty fast about the mortgage because Paul set up my phone to receive my gmail on my phone so as soon as she emails me back I will know. Thanks Paul. Oh, and LOVE the ring.

Tomorrow

So tomorrow I am going to be looking at a home with my parents and brother and sister in law. I am SO excited for them to see this one. The living room is very cute with a fireplace, there is a room right off of the living room, then you go back into the house, to the right is a bathroom, to the left are two bedrooms. You go on and the kitchen is a nice size with an eat in kitchen, a window looking out over the back yard, and a door that goes to the backyard that is fenced in.

There is a large window in the front room and a small side window. And it has BEAUTIFUL floors. I am trying to get my pictures downloaded onto my computer but it doesn't seem to be working. Am going to see if I can get Paul to help me get them on. If not I will do my best to put them up tomorrow.

2 hour delay? Snow day? Crushed hopes?

So we have yet another snow storm coming in tonight. It has already snowed a ton and I thought a moment ago that it had stopped and my hopes went down for a snow day or even a 2 hour delay. But then I went and checked, really looking out the window and it is REALLY snowing out. It is small snow but it is still coming down heavy so let's all keep our fingers crossed. I want at LEAST a 2 hour delay although I would LOVE a snow day. Then would only have Friday before vacation started.

Let's see what happens.

Racing Season Soon Officially begins

Racing season will soon be upon us and I am SO EXCITED. I don't follow NASCAR closely but I do follow it enough to know drivers and sometimes....just sometimes I will watch a race on the tv. I do prefer to be there in person. There is NOTHING like the smell of the fuel, the burning tires, the sound of the roar, the feel of it in your chest. It is amazing and I love it.

So above is Tony Stewart, NASCAR driver for the Home Depot car, with his customized Lambo. On the front plate it has a customized plate that says Smoke and the car's color is the color of his race car. Pretty sexy huh? Like you would miss a Lambo coming down the road anyway. Tony is the #1 bad boy of racing and despite behaving himself on and off the track recently he is still feared on the track. Don't mess with him or you will find yourself spinning out of control into the infield.
